Can you speak dog?

Have you ever wished you could understand what your dog is trying to tell you?

Ever wished you knew what he was thinking?

As you get to know your dog better, it becomes easier to understand what he’s trying to ‘tell’ you by his behaviour, motions or the way he barks.

But what if you had an automatic translation machine that told you exactly what he was saying?

You’d know what he wanted for dinner, where he wanted to go for a walk, or what he could smell.

Sounds impossible? Well computer software might be on the horizon to do just that! Its already available to translate other ‘human’ languages, so its just another short bounce to ‘dog’.

Ear operation

Tomorrow Monty is booked in to have another operation on his ear. Poor little sausage.

This will be the second time he’s needed his ear cleaning and draining under anaesthetic since he was attacked in the park and suffered a nasty cut to his ear.

I’m sure he’ll be fine, and thankfully we have pet insurance…

But would this have been necessary if he hadn’t had the injury? Would the other dog have been able to attack him if it were on a lead or wearing a muzzle? I don’t think so.

Get well soon Montgomery Burns

Monty

Monty, or Montgomery Burns, to give him his full title!, is a west highland white terrier.

He’s a bit of a scamp, but we love him!
